(CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) opened its Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Clarksville on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

The center is located in the William O. Beach Civic Hall, 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 303 in Veterans Plaza.

The center is assisting businesses and residents to apply for low-interest disaster loans associated with the severe storm that hit Clarksville on October 26, 2019. The storm was the remnants of Tropical Storm Olga and caused severe wind damage to trees and structures.

“We have customer service representatives available to assist disaster survivors in their recovery from Tropical Storm Olga,” said Dorris Evans, Public Affairs Specialist for SBA. “What the SBA offers is low-interest disaster loans for homeowners, renters, businesses and nonprofit organizations.”

Evans added that if you were impacted with damage or loss of personal property, or if your business was shut down and had economic losses or physical damage, stop by and speak with the SBA in-person and let them know what your needs are so they can help you with the application process.

The center is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and is closed on Sundays. The last day for the center is Wednesday, January 22 and it will be open on that day from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
