Sarah Jean Alvarez, 86, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare of Clarksville.
Sarah was born on May 1, 1932, in Kinston, PA to the late James Wheeler and Jean Gorham Wheeler. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Wheeler and James G. Wheeler and sister, Agnes Goia.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
Sarah is survived by her husband, Nestor “Al” Alvarez of Clarksville, TN; son, Ron (Renae) Alvarez of Clarksville, TN; two daughters, Denise (Jimmy) Mitchell of Nashville, TN and Amy Bates of Pleasant View, TN; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
