CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Heaven’Leigh Sanders was crowned the first African-American Homecoming Queen at Rossview High School during the 13th Homecoming Celebration September 27.
She was escorted by Alex Araujo. Sanders is a senior and Co-Captain of the Varsity Cheer team at RHS. She will be attending the 2013 Spirit of America Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and hopes to attend Western Kentucky University.
