CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Salvation Army of Clarksville is excited to announce that they are now accepting registrations for summer camp at Camp Paradise Valley in Burkesville, Kentucky. The camp lies on 400+ acres on the shores of Dale Hollow Lake, straddling the Kentucky-Tennessee state line. They invite all families with children ages 7 to 17 to sign up and join them for a week of fun, adventure, and learning in the great outdoors.
At Camp Paradise Valley, children will have the opportunity to swim, hike, canoe, and participate in a variety of other outdoor activities. They will also have the chance to make new friends, learn valuable life skills, and grow in their faith. The Salvation Army’s experienced staff and counselors are dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where all children can thrive.

In addition to accepting registrations for campers, The Salvation Army is also hiring camp staff for the summer, including counselors, lifeguards, housekeepers, and maintenance positions. The Army is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals between the ages of 15 and 23 to join their team at Camp Paradise Valley. As a camp staff member, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience, work with children, and make a difference in the lives of others. The Salvation Army depends on donations from the community to provide summer camp experiences to local children.
