Russell Wayne Bennett, age 80 of Big Rock, passed away in the Peace of God at his home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. He was born on March 24, 1940, in Cache, OK to Luther and Iva Broadway Bennett.
Russell was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with his family, bladesmithing, fishing, gardening, painting, and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 5 siblings and his great-grandchild. Russell is survived by his wife of 56 years, JoAnn Provost Bennett; sons, Steve (Mandi) Bennett and Duane (Lori) Bennett; daughters: Angel Bishop, Sandra (Bob) Haley, and Sharee (Mychal) Allen; sister, Fola Lee Cart; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
