CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The City of Clarksville announced on Monday the Street Department’s newest construction project of 2025, Rossview Road Phase 2. This is a subsequent phase to the widening of the roadway between Cardinal Lane and Powell Road, according to a news release from city spokesman Jimmy Settle.
The second phase includes additional widening of Rossview beginning at Cardinal Lane and ending just west of Keysburg Road. The project will also include the realignment of Dunbar Cave Road.

“This phase of the project is important to help this growing part of our city navigate through the school zones, and commercial and residential areas,” said Mayor Joe Pitts. “We hope to begin planning improvements on the remaining part of Rossview Road that lies in the city limits, soon.”
The shift is taking place near Ross Farms Boulevard, and it is planned to tie into a new, four-way signalized intersection at Cardinal Lane. The new traffic signal is expected to enhance safety near the Rossview schools complex, while eliminating the offset intersection alignment between Cardinal Lane and Dunbar Cave Road.
The road improvement project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025 and is another component of the citywide mayor’s Transportation 2020+ master plan.
