CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Rossview Playhouse will present their Spring Competitive One-Act Play, That’s Not How I Remember It by Don Zolidis, on March 16, 17 and 18 at 7 p.m. in the RHS Main Theatre. Tickets are $5.

This comedy pays homage to the 1980s with two young parents, Lola and Barry, who have very different memories of how they met in high school.

As Mom and Dad tell their little boy the story of how they met in 1986 – “pretty much the most awesome year ever” – it becomes apparent they remember their courtship completely differently. Mom’s version makes their meeting sound like a sappy romantic comedy while Dad somehow makes himself a rock ‘n’ roll stud who dominates karate battles.

“This tubular one-act is … full of hope that Lola and Barry can spur their memories through the music of their generation. Perhaps 20 iconic pop hits and Rock power ballads can rekindle their rather tired and stagnant relationship with the hope that they can write their true love story together for their young son and future generations to come,” said LuEllyn Wilcox.
