CLARKSVILLE, TN – On April 7 at Rossview High School, Post 289 2nd Vice Commander Ernest Schmidt and Post Adjutant Bob Grigsey awarded two JROTC Awards to cadets Capt. Garrison Depriest and Kamiliya Aumiller.
The Scholastic Excellence award was given to Kamiliya Aumiller while the General Military Excellence award went to Garrison Depriest.
American Legion Awards are given annually to outstanding cadets at each school for general military and scholastic excellence. Not more than one student at a school may be nominated per year for these awards. Students participating in JROTC programs conducted at high schools will receive the bronze medal.
