CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Rossview High School will present a different take on “A Christmas Carol” suited for the COVID-19 season.
“The very first play I ever had the honor of directing at Rossview High School in our first year of operation was ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens,” said LuEllyn Boyer Wilcox, RHS theatre director. “For the 20th anniversary of the opening of RHS, it was always my intention to bring this wonderful play back to our stage.
“I was very worried that the pandemic would not allow us to gather and produce this play, but with the support and encouragement of Dr. Schanda Doughty and our Rossview administration, we were able to provide safe procedures under CDC guidelines to prepare this radio play for you.”
“A Christmas Carol: A Radio Play” by Philip Grecian will be presented this week by the Rossview theatre students.
“These students are incredibly fearless and extremely talented,” Wilcox said.
The show will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Nov. 12, 13 and 14) at 7 p.m. The theater will open for seating at 6:15 each night with pre-purchased tickets. Tickets are $5. Temperatures will be taken at the door, and masks will be required. Limited tickets will be available for purchase on the GoFan app at https://gofan.co/app/school/TN8684
