CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Rossview High School senior has been recommended for expulsion after allegedly bringing a gun to the school.
Elise Shelton, Chief Communications Officer for the school system, said several students reported seeing a small handgun fall out of the student’s pocket after school on Jan. 30.
Administrators and the school resource officer investigated the claims and the student has been recommended for zero tolerance under state law, which calls for expulsion.
“The student is no longer at Rossview, but is receiving due process through appeal,” Shelton said.
