Clarksville, Tenn. – As football season officially winds down there was a game going on Saturday, January 24 that was exciting for some very special sports fans. It was the 2nd annual Buddy Ball, Buddy Bowl at Rossview High School.

Rossview’s football team, the “Hawks” along with Head Coach Ron Lambert and members of his staff coached and supported two teams of Buddy Ball players as they competed. It was all part of the Buddy Ball Special Needs Athletic League.

Buddy Ball gives individuals with a mental and/or physical disability the chance to play sports, regardless of their abilities which helps overcome the stigma often associated with a disability. To find out more about Buddy Ball and the events they offer visit their website at www.buddyball.net
