Rosie Hagewood, age 83 of Cunningham,TN died Monday, November 18,2013 at Clarksville Nursing and Rehab. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Cabin Row Missionary Baptist Church. Burial Cabin Row Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 22,2013 from noon until 8 p.m. with the family present 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home.
She was born January 31, 1930 in Montgomery County to the late Irvin and Kate Moody Ramey. She was a graduate from the Historic Burt High School. She was a member of Cabin Row Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the mother’s board, Pastor’s Aide and Missionary Society. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Leeroy Hagewood and her daughter Sheila Mosley and brothers Lloyd Ramey, William D. Ramey, James A. Ramey, Robert I. Ramey, George W. Ramey, Walter E. Ramey and Rodney M. Ramey and sisters Annie P. Baynham and Emma L. Collier
She leaves to cherish her memory children Bristol(George) Pettus, Bernice(Cullom) Williams, Connie(Rev. John)Dix,Machelle(Kenneth)Springfield and Melvin(Vallie)Hagewood all of Clarksville;sisters Rubye(Cullume) Roger Cunningham,TN and Mary(Clifford)Bell Nashville,TN and a devoted granddaughter Briana Mosley and twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
