Rosario Martinez Alemany, age 55 of Clarksville passed away on Sunday May 5, 2019 at her residence.
She was born April 27, 1964 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Alturo Martinez and Mariana R. Schmidt. She completed nursing school and served as a nurse in Puerto Rico. Rosario spent the majority of her life as a stay at home mother; she was a loving mother, homemaker, and Christian woman. She also enjoyed cooking. After her children were grown she took on two mutt puppies Baby and Jessie. She loved old TV shows like the Golden Girls, Dallas, and Alice as well as watching Food Network and HGTV. Rosario’s truest treasures in life were her children and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her mother; Mariana R. Schmidt of Knoxville, two daughters; Mia Crowder (Joshua) of Walland, TN and Flordalyris Alemany of Clarksville, 3 grandchildren; Aurora Crowder, John Arryn Crowder, and Alexander Crowder of Walland, TN. Also surviving is two sisters, Yolanda Santiago – Rivas of Jacksonville, FL and Mariana Santiago-Rivas of Puerto Rico.
Rosario is preceded in death by her father.
There will be a memorial service at a later date in Knoxville, TN.
