Rosa Lee Tyler, age 87, of Clarksville, died Monday, January 27, 2014, at Gateway Medical Center. She was born in Montgomery County, to the late Isaac Walton Edgin and Bessie Johnson Edgin. Mrs. Tyler was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Tyler, three brothers, and two sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 3, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Milton Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, February 2, and from noon until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Rosa is survived by three sons, James Tyler, of Cumberland Furnace, TN, Raymond G. (Jeannie) Tyler, of Hendersonville, TN, and Steven D. Tyler (Beth), of Clarksville; two daughters, Lenda (Ronny) McClain, of Clarksville, and Karen (Milton) Gordon, of Ashland City, TN; two brothers, Robert and Roy Edgin; three sisters, Ethel Hogue, Sarah Sykes, and Betty Schultz; ten grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross, Clarksville Chapter, 1760 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37043.
