CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)– Room in the Inn is asking local churches to assist in providing homeless individuals a place to sleep and a hot meal during the winter months.
Room in the Inn is a program coordinated by the Clarksville-Montgomery County Community Action Agency, and they are asking for local area churches to join them in providing homeless neighbors with a hot evening meal and a warm place to sleep on a rotating basis from November through March.
Currently, 12 local churches are participating, but more congregations are needed to make sure each evening is covered for the coming winter. Churches can choose from a number of open dates that need to be filled.
Room In The Inn also needs donations of money, supplies and transportation services.
