Ronnie Lee Powell, age 57, passed away on June 5, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on October 5, 1963 in Halifax, N.C. to Sheltie Powell and Betty Ray Silver Powell. Ronnie was a very loving father, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him.

Powell is survived by his five children, Terrance D. Blue of Clarksville, Tenn., Rhonda (Joshua) Harper, Ronnie Powell, Jr. of Enfield, N.C., Aaron B. Powell of Clarksville and LaKeasha R. Powell of Enfield and eight grandchildren, Brionna Blue, Teonna Porter, Trayvon Jones, Casey Alston, Niquan Bryant, Charnetta Powell, Erin Powell and Queen Harper.

He also leaves behind his brother, Sheldon L. Powell (Mary) of Pinetop, N.C.; sister, Nancy A. Gorham of Whitakers, N.C.; aunts, Ozetta Nicholson, Hilda Silver and Marilyn S. Hunter; uncle, Calvin Silver, a host of nieces and nephews and one incredibly special family member, Christal Silver, who he loved and cherished.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Ray Powell.
