Ronald Thayne Tuxhorn, 70, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Jeff Burris officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, September 23, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Ronnie was born on January 15, 1945, in Kensington, Kansas, the third son of the late Albert and Esther Tuxhorn.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sally Tuxhorn; two sons, Scott Tuxhorn (Kelly) and Mike Olson (Denise); two daughters, Donna Kee (Ron) and Stacey Dinkel (Rick); seven grandchildren, Tamsen Olson, Courtney Olson, Alexander Kee, Ryan Kee, Josslyn Dinkel, Jacob Dinkel, and Chase Tuxhorn; two brothers, Cletis Tuxhorn (Sandy) and Adren Tuxhorn (Patsy); six nieces, Tracy Pinch (Chuck), Becky Marsh, Morgan Pinch, Lenae Tuxhorn, Marissa Tuxhorn, and Briana Tuxhorn; and four nephews, Trent Tuxhorn (Dawn), Ty Tuxhorn (Diana), Garrett Tuxhorn (Michelle), and Zachary Tuxhorn.

Ronnie was a retired custom builder, who loved to work in his yard. He enjoyed watching sports and was a true Denver Broncos fan. He was an artist, who loved to paint and write. He also loved photography, hunting, fishing, and watching sunsets and nature.

He was a good husband, friend, and loved his family dearly. Despite a life of challenge, he was able to find joy and peace through his unwavering Christian faith and love for God.
