A memorial service for Ronald “Ronnie” Travis, age 70, of Clarksville, TN, will be Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Bro. James Black will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Ronnie was born on April 29, 1954, in Dickson, TN, to Woodrow and Doris Travis. He passed away on October 6, 2024. Ronnie retired from the Montgomery County Highway Department and also worked for the City of Clarksville Street Department.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Travis and siblings: Lucille Dodson, Charles “Buddy” Travis, Robert “Bobby” Travis, Wayne Travis, Warren “Pappy” Travis, and Sherry Travis Wallace. He is survived by his siblings: Cecil (Frances) Travis, Sr., Cecilia Grubb, Billy (Cynthia) Travis, and Sondra Harris; companion, Dawn Swindle; and stepdaughter, Terri (Randall) Banks.
