Ronald passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare.
Funeral services for Ronald Robert Marshall, age 73 of Oak Grove, will be Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the KY Veterans Cemetery West. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Sykes Funeral Home.
He was born on Feb 4, 1945 in Waterbury, CT to Robert and Dorothy Marshall. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Marshall Jr. and a granddaughter, Katlyn Micklinevich. He was a Veteran of The United States Marines and served during the Vietnam war, and was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion. He was a retired law enforcement officer.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Anita Marshall; daughters, Dawn (Basil) Freeman, Christine (Daniel) Baldino; Son, Ronald Marshall Jr.; sisters, Mary Macharelli, Lynn Catuccio, Deborah Marshall; brothers, Patrick and John Marshall; grandchildren, Daniel Baldino IV, Brittney Baldino, Noah Hernandez, Brooklyn Marshall; and one great-grandchild, Jaymi Strand.
