It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ron “G”, 80. Ron was born on August 18, 1942, in Hamtramck, Michigan, and left this world on August 6, 2023. His departure was unexpected. Ron had a large personality and lived life to the fullest. He could keep you entertained with his many stories for hours. His ability to win you over with his stories and bring laughter it what made him successful and will be missed.
Ron served in the United States Army from September 18, 1961, and was stationed in Germany, he was honorably discharged on September 10, 1963. Ron was a man of many talents, known for his strong work ethic and his love for cars. He worked as a lock smith at the Renaissance Center in Downtown Detroit. He began his career in real estate with Realty One in Dearborn, Michigan. He and his spouse, Barb moved to Crossville, Tennessee in 1994, where he expanded his real estate endeavors to include property management.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Gajewski; his children, Keith (Sheryl) Gajewski, Vera (Jason) deVogel, and Aaron (Tabitha) deVogel; his grandchildren, Daniel, Ethan and Owen and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
Let us remember Ron as we knew him, always reminding ourselves to stop and listen. You may miss a good story. May he rest in peace.
