CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Legolorians, First Lego League Robotics Team #24453, won the West Tennessee Championship on Feb. 4 in Collierville. The team of elementary and middle school students are from the Clarksville area and they have been invited to compete in the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas, from April 18-22. This is the only team in East and West Tennessee that is invited to represent Tennessee in the World Championships.

First Lego League is an international program that challenges students to solve real-world problems using science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The team has been working hard to design and build a robot using Lego bricks, and they have been preparing to showcase their skills at the World Championship in Houston.

“This trip is an incredible opportunity for our students to develop their problem-solving and teamwork skills, as well as gain exposure to the latest advancements in STEM fields. It is also a once-in-a-lifetime experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives,” organizers said.
