WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has obtained indictments for a woman accused of pointing a BB gun at two police officers, resulting in an officer-involved shooting earlier this year in Robertson County.
TBI Agents began investigating an officer-involved shooting in White House, TN on June 16.
TBI said 34-year-old Samantha Rediker pointed a gun, later identified as a BB gun, at two officers from the White House Police Department, who were responding to a reported domestic situation involving Rediker and her wife at the Motel 6 on Hester Drive.
Though the officers reportedly gave multiple commands for Rediker to drop the gun, she did not comply. The officers fired and struck Rediker, who was later treated and released.
On September 20, the Robertson County Grand Jury returned indictments, charging the Cedar Hill woman with two counts of assault. On Wednesday, authorities arrested her and booked her into the Robertson County Jail on $7,500 bond.
