Mr. Robert J. Williams was born October 29, 1927 in Pikesville, NC to the proud parents, Henry and Mattie Williams. He departed this earthly tabernacle on January 16, 2024.
Robert attended school in Pikeville. He united with Loch Hill Ekklesia Bible Chapel in Baltimore, MD. He later joined the Army from which he retired after many years of service. After the military, he worked for the Baltimore Public School System until his retirement.
On December 9, 1951, Robert married Miss Virginia Baines and shared many years together. She preceded him in death.
Robert loved singing and playing the guitar on occasions. Traveling was another joy he loved and spending time with family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Children- Roberta Pinkett (Joseph) Ashland City, TN. Belinda Smith (Michael) Clarksville, TN. Robert Williams Jr. Baltimore, MD. Cynthia Williams Clarksville, TN. Sister- Jean Finley (Alvin) Goose Creek, SC. Grandchildren- Kristen Smith, Michael Smith II, Ryan F. Williams, Theresa Oputa, Derrick Williams, Amber Wadham (John), Andrea Goodson, Joseph Pinkett. Eight Great Grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
