Robert Shearon Bagwell, Sr., age 82 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
He was born on December 27, 1938, in Montgomery County, Tenn. to the late Robert and Amanda Shearon Bagwell. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Throughout his working career, Robert was a heavy equipment operator and spent 35 years at the Montgomery County Highway Department. After retirement, he thoroughly enjoyed tending and nurturing his yard and flowers.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Reddick. Survivors include his wife of over 60 years, Priscilla Edwards Bagwell; children, Bob (Shane) Bagwell, Jr., Greg (Ellen) Bagwell and Sherry L. Bagwell; sister, Rachel Pace; grandchildren, Stephanie Oakes, Brandon Bagwell, Amanda Knapp, Samantha Bagwell, T.J. Casey and Robert S. Bagwell III and great-grandchildren, Steven Knapp, Mavis Knapp and Viven Knapp.
The Bagwell family will receive friends from 4 to 6p.m. on Friday, July 2 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
