Robert Dowell, age 76 of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at his residence.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Greater New Birth Jerusalem Ministries. Burial will be at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Greater New Birth Jerusalem Ministries.
He was born April 23, 1937 in Memphis, TN to the late Josh and Mariah Dowell. He retired from the U.S. Army. His wife Barbara Jean Dowell preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory; daughters, Gail McKinney, Sybil (Kenneth) Williams and Debra (Lawerence) Brown; son, Kerwin D. Dowell; brothers, R.B. (Dorothy) Dowell, Roger L. Dowell and James Richard (Ruby) Dowell; fifteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a host of family friends.
