Robert “Bob” Earl Winn, age 83, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
Robert was born March 15, 1932 in Muhlenburg County, KY, to the late Lonnie W. Winn and Gladys Shutt Winn. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Sybil Higgins.
Mr. Winn was retired from the US Air Force. He was also a member of St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Betty Meriweather officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West, in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday, May 26, at the funeral home.
Robert is survived by his wife, Katherine “Kathy” Winn; son, Mark (Teresa) Winn of Clarksville; daughter, Tina (Mike) Winn-Thomas of Clarksville; three sisters, Reby Mosley of Clarksville, Rayola Laney of Owensboro, KY, and Joan Johnson of Hillsboro, MO; three grandchildren, Matt (Britney) Winn, Hunter Winn, and Kate Thomas; step-granddaughter, Nikki Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Brady Winn and Keegan Santoyo; and two step-great-grandchildren, Brionna Thomas and Jaylon Townsend.
Military personnel will serve as pallbearers.
