Mr. Robert Bruce Whitworth, SM Sgt (Ret) age 83 of Dover, TN, passed away on December 26, 2019.
He was born June 24, 1936, in Pocahontas, VA, son of the late John Lawson and Hulda Mae Phelps Whitworth. Mr. Whitworth served 30 years in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Ft. Donelson Memorial United Methodist Church. He was also a lifetime member of the Free and Accepted Masons, a member of the Lions Club International, and the Dover Kiwanis International.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Whitworth, sons, Robert Whitworth, Jr., Michael Whitworth, and Steven Whitworth, daughter, Rebecca Guglielmo, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date, Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
