Robbye L. Crockarell, age 88, of Clarksville, TN, went to be with Jesus on Friday, August 16, 2024 in Clarksville.
Robbye was born on September 22, 1935 in Stewart County, TN to the late J.P. Quinn and Elsie Sykes Quinn. She joined her daughter, Elaine Crockarell and great-granddaughter, Parker Daily in heaven.
Additionally, she is now with her sisters, Myretta Knott, Bea Kennett, Patricia Link, Betty Pulley, Mary Evenlyn Kent, Pattie Louise West, Carol Ford, and brother, JP Quinn.
Robbye is survived by her daughters, Robin Knight, and Karen and son-in-love, David Daily; grandchildren, David and Courtney Knight, Michael and Kasie Knight, Zach and Murphy Dailey, and Alex and Ellen Dailey; Great-grandchildren, Blake, Nora, Henry and Margot. Her sister and friend for 88 years, Molly Camilla Taylor. Robbye loved her family and friends with a passion.
First and foremost, Robbye loved Jesus. She was a member of Nashville First Church of the Nazarene, a devoted member of Victory Class, and her special friends “The Golden Girls”. Robbye taught school at WT Thomas, also working at Ely Walker, TVA Piney, drove a school bus, farmed and rustled cattle.
She loved helping to raise her grandchildren, always teaching them to love Jesus. Robbye is no longer battling Parkinson’s and heart Disease. We Appreciate the loving care mom received at Spring Meadows and from her friends at Trevecca Towers.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM at Wofford Cemetery in Dover, Tennessee.
