CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Rob West, an experienced radio talent who grew up in Tennessee, has returned home and joined The Beaver Country Morning Show with Monica Reed on Beaver 100.3.

Rob comes to Clarksville from KDXY in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where he held several roles, including Operations Manager, for seven years. He has a total of 27 years of experience in radio.

“The opportunity to pair Rob and Monica for the Beaver Country Morning Show is extremely fortunate for 5 Star Media Group,” said 5 Star Media Group General Manager Kevin Miskimins. “Two great pros that are constant contributors to the community, and a chance to return home for a great talent that in short order has energized our team.”

Middle Tennessee is a homecoming for Rob, who grew up in Hendersonville.

“You’ll find me on the lakes, rivers, in the woods with bow in hand or on the golf course. My wife and I have been married 27 years and have three girls, along with two dogs: Rucker, a redbone hound, and Harlow, a mini dachshund,” Rob said.

He added that he’s excited to join 5 Star Media Group, which owns Beaver 100.3 and eight other local stations, plus ClarksvilleNow.com and ChristianCountyNow.com.

“I had the opportunity to come back home and do radio in a state and area that I love,” Rob said. “Having the opportunity to work with a group of people at 5 Star Media Group and get to create great local morning radio with Monica. I am super excited to be here and getting out to meet listeners and making friends!”

5 Star Programming Director Chad Heritage said Rob is a great addition to the team. “He  will play a pivotal role in helping take mornings on The Beaver 100.3 to the next level,” Heritage said.

The all-new Rob and Monica: The Beaver Country Morning Show airs 5-10 a.m. Monday-Friday on Beaver 100.3.
