CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) says all roadwork has wrapped up on the Rossview Road widening and I-24 interchange modification project.

The newly widened SR 237 (Rossview Rd.) is five lanes from I-24 to International Boulevard. The roadway has dedicated turn lanes and traffic signals for vehicles entering and exiting the interstate or the proposed industrial development site of Hankook Tire.

Improvements to the I-24 interchange include ramp reconstruction and two new bridges over I-24.

The project cost is approximately $12.9 million.

There is still some dirt work remaining. Once work is completed crews can apply the final thermoplastic striping.

Construction is still underway on the new Park & Ride facility site at Exit 11 (SR 76 / MLK Jr Pkwy) and it is expected to be completed this fall. Riders will continue to use the current Park & Ride facility at Exit 8 until the new site is finished.
