CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police said a crash shut down westbound traffic just before Exit 11 on Interstate 24 Wednesday around 3:45 p.m.
Police said that around 4:45 p.m. the road had been reopened, but traffic likely won’t return to normal until about 5:30 p.m. due to backups.
A single car was involved in the crash. Police said the car hit a guardrail and no one was injured.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol worked the crash with traffic assistance from CPD and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
