CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Road closures and water outages have been planned for the following areas this week:
Parade Drive will be closed Monday, June, 1 through Friday, June 5. The closure will affect Parade Drive from Tylertown Road to Parade Court. The Street Department will install a trench gate across the road, weather permitting.
Residents will be permitted access but Parade Drive will otherwise be closed to traffic during this time frame. As always, drivers are urged to use caution when driving in work areas.
Clarksville Gas and Water has scheduled a water outage and road closure on Franklin Street at 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening, depending on weather conditions, for water valve replacement work.
The water outage will affect Franklin Street from South Third Street to North Fourth Street and possible low water pressure for area residents.
Franklin Street will also be closed to traffic from South Third Street to Childers Street. Motorists will be detoured to South Third and Childers streets to avoid the construction zone.
The work is anticipated to be finished and water service restored and the road reopened by approximately 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
Contractors will be performing sewer line rehabilitation work during the week of June 1-5, 2015 on the following streets.

Southern Drive
Preston Drive
Downer Drive
Batts Lane
Hadley Drive
Ambrose Drive
Trahern Circle
Porters Bluff Road
