CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Gas and Water has scheduled road closures and water outages for Tuesday, Feb. 25
Hornberger Lane from College Street to Franklin Street will be closed at 8:00 a.m. for manhole rehabilitation work. A section of the outer eastbound lane of College Street near the Hornberger Lane intersection will be also be closed.
College Street will be passable; however, Hornberger Lane will be closed to traffic. Motorists will be detoured to East College Street.
The work is anticipated to be finished by approximately 12:00 p.m.
Claridge Drive from Maple Lane to Madison Street will be closed for water main line replacement work. Construction crews will close the road daily between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. through Friday, February 28, 2014 to complete the work.
A water outage is scheduled for Excell Road at 8:00 a.m. for fire hydrant replacement work.
The water outage will affect all of Excell Road from Madison Street (U.S. Highway 41-A) to Ashland City Road (State Route 12) until approximately 3:30 p.m. Area residents may also experience low water pressure during the work.
Construction crews will be working along the northbound lane of Excell Road and will close the road to one lane near the intersections of Old Ashland City Road and Bryan Road.
Motorists are asked to practice caution when approaching work zones and be alert to directional signs and flaggers.
