CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Right Way Clarksville members presented state Rep. Jay Reedy with “A Plus” during their regular May meeting.

“An A Plus rating is the highest level a candidate can receive,” said Right Way Clarksville chairman Ginger Kormelink. “Jay Reedy is exactly the kind of representative that Tennessee needs.”

Kormelink urged all Right Way Clarksville members and supporters to vote for Reedy. He is currently seeking his third term in the Tennessee General Assembly representing District 74.

The Erin Republican was first elected in 2014. Reedy is an Austin Peay State University ROTC graduate and served as an enlisted soldier on active duty and later as an officer in the Army Reserve.

Reedy is married to Vickie Reedy, who is a teacher at Houston County High School. The couple has three children.

A former Houston County Election Board Commissioner, Reedy currently serves as the Correspondence Secretary for the Houston County Republican Party.

Reedy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Austin Peay State University. He is also a certified locksmith from Assured Locksmith Training in Florida.
