Ride free with CTS for a safe New Year’s Eve

It's a free ride home on New Year's Eve if you may have had a little too much in the way of a celebration.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Transit System (CTS) wants to know if you are still arguing over who’s going to drive on New Year’s Eve. Here’s an idea: Hop on CTS Saturday night with “Operation Safe Ride.”

Enjoy your New Year’s Eve celebration, but if you end up partying a little too much, don’t drink and drive. As a public service CTS is offering free rides New Year’s Eve from 11:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. Sunday, New Year’s Day.

All you have to do is call 931-553-2429 for a safe ride home from any public or private location within the city limits of Clarksville. Passengers needing to go to Fort Campbell will be dropped off at Gate 4 and transported on post by installation officials.
