Richard Donald Stewart, age 71, passed away on December 13th, 2014, at Grace Healthcare in Clarksville, TN.
He was born in Montgomery County on December 2nd, 1943 to the late Loney B. and Dorothy Ramey Stewart. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Loney B. Stewart, Jr.
Mr. Stewart was a member of Lester’s Chapel Missonary Baptist Church, the Benevolent Lodge, the Masononic Lodge, Mount Mariah Prince Hall, and the local # 576 Union of Louisville, KY.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bradford Stewart of Clarksville; two sons, Richard Bradford of Radcliff, KY, Rodney Stewart of Clarksville; daughters Renay White of Radcliff, KY; Michelle Stewart of Clarksville; brother Wilbur Stewart of Wrightstown, NJ; sisters Rachel Stewart of Nashville,TN; Frances Stewart Bonner (James), of Spring Hill, TN; and five grandchildren, Tommie White, Jr., Natalia Bradford, Jade Kempton, Jeremiah Kempton, and Kevin Stewart.
Services will be held from the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, with Pastor Quint Clark officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16th and from noon until time of service on Wednesday.
