A Celebration of Life service for SFC Richard Donald Mazerik ARMY (Ret.), 89, of Clarksville, TN will be Friday, May 10, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Chapel with Father Theo officiating. Inurnment will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West where full military honors will be rendered. The family will recover friends on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the church.
Richard was born on December 4, 1934, to Joseph and Helen Mazerik in Youngstown, OH. Richard served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army for a combined total of 23 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Richard loved fixing things in the house and outdoors. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Karla Mazerik, children, Andrew (Mary) Mazerik, Mary Ann (Mike) Miner, Heidi Marie Burton, grandchildren, Michael, Richard II, Melina, Amanda, and Logan, and great grandchildren, Alyssa, Michael Jr., Jeremiah, Lilly, and Theo.
