A Celebration of Life for MSG Richard Krebs, ARMY (Ret), age 85, of Clarksville, TN, will be Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Peters will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Richard was born on May 11, 1937 in Shamokin, PA to Clarence and Florence Krebs. He retired from the United States Army, was a respiratory therapist at St. Thomas and Baptist Hospital, and a professor at TSU. He loved spending time with his family and being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Richard enjoyed riding on his tractor, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and collecting model trains.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Renate Krebs and son-in-law, Daniel Plummer. He is survived by his daughters: Christine (Patrick) Pelland, Cornelia Plummer, Carola Krebs, and Catherine (Michael) Perry; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
