Memorial service for SFC Richard Howard Jordan, ARMY (Ret), age 87 of Clarksville, will be Friday, December 11, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church. Richard passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville.
He was born on August 14, 1933, in Ashland, NH to Wilbur and Bertha Jordan. Richard retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service. He served in Korea and Vietnam. Throughout his military career he earned many meritorious awards including the Soldier’s Medal and two Purple Hearts. He was an outdoorsman from an early age enjoying hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by 8 siblings. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Leah Jordan; step-sons Ward Haines and Christopher Haines.
