Richard “Dick” Allen Gilstorf, age 83, of Clarksville, died Friday, May 2, 2014 at his home.
He was born in Allen Park, MI, to the late Fredrick Gilstorf and Harriett Marlowe Gilstorf.
Dick was retired from the TVA and from the US Air Force, after 20 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and a frequent visitor of Harrah’s Casinos at Tunica and Metropolis.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 5 at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, May 4 and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
Air Force Personnel will serve as Pallbearers.
Mr. Gilstorf is survived by his wife, Betty Gilstorf; two sons, Fred Gilstorf, of Sevierville, TN, and John (Linda) Gilstorf, of Clarksville; two daughters, Cathy Gilstorf and Harriet Josleyn, both of Clarksville; two brothers, Roy (Linda) Gilstorf and Robert (Myrt) Gilstorf, both of Michigan; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cats Are Us, 119 Providence Boulevard, Clarksville, TN 37042.
