Retired Lt. Colonel George Eugene Heath, 71, of Clarksville, TN, died Monday, March 31, 2014 at his residence.
He was born January 27, 1943 in Moultrie, GA to the late Franklin Eugene Heath and Johnnie Merle Heath. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marie Lipsey Heath.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2014 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Dr. Larry Robertson, Rev. Verlon Moore, and Brother Terry Brown officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014 and Friday, April 4, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
He was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Heather Heath Clark (Billy) and Tara Heath McRorie (Joe); three grandchildren, Brittany Heroux (James), Hunter Heath Self, and Bradley Stacey; and two great grandchildren, Jaelynn Heroux and Nathan Heroux.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
