CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The National Weather Service is weighing in on upcoming frigid temperatures early next week, warning residents to be ready for the cold.

“Temperatures will start to fall Sunday night. Once they get below freezing, temperatures will likely not rise above freezing again until Wednesday,” the NWS reported.

“Start getting prepared now! Before the cold arrives, bring your pets indoors, drip your faucets, take care of any sensitive vegetation, and check on your family, friends or neighbors to make sure they’re prepared, too.”

Manna Cafe has opened its warming shelter starting Friday.
