CLARKSVILLE, TN – If you’ve heard about Replant Clarksville – and their effort to plant thousands of trees across our community – and have been looking for a way to get involved, now’s your chance.
Replant Clarksville is planting 50 trees at Civitan Park on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m., and they need help. Volunteers must sign up through the Montgomery County Parks. Bring your work gloves and shoes – they will have the tools, the trees, and the holes pre-dug when you arrive. Planting will take place 1-4 p.m. at Civitan Park, Brake Pavilion, 650 Bellamy Lane, Clarksville. All ages are welcome.
“This will be our first volunteer activity in an ongoing collaboration between Montgomery County and Replant Clarksville to increase the tree canopy in our community,” organizers said.
For more information about this and future opportunities, sign up for the Replant Clarksville email list. To help them plant more trees, make a donation to Replant Clarksville.
