CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A repeat offender led Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies on a high-speed chase from Wilma Rudolph Boulevard to Fort Campbell Boulevard Monday afternoon.

Deputies attempted to stop Dusty Roby, 30, and arrest him on multiple felony warrants, including those for evading, that were outstanding when he attempted to evade authorities.

During the chase, he ran several vehicles off the road, drove into oncoming traffic and went through the median. Deputy Rory Kennedy attempted to box Roby in to prevent Roby from driving through a busy intersection and harming motorists in the area, and that’s when Roby ran into Kennedy’s patrol car before the pursuit came to an end.

Roby has a lengthy criminal history, as well as a history of running from authorities. His charges are pending, as he is currently being booked into Montgomery County Jail.

No one was injured in the pursuit.
