CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – State Rep. Aron Maberry has announced his campaign for re-election to the Tennessee House of Representatives in District 68 for the 2026 election cycle.

“Serving the people of Clarksville and Montgomery County has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” Maberry said. “Together, we’ve fought for stronger schools, safer communities, better roads, and a government that respects your values and your tax dollars. I’m running for re-election to continue that fight – to keep delivering real results for our community.”

Since being elected, Maberry said, he has secured tens of millions in state funding for projects like Highway 237 (Rossview Road), championed the approval of two new hospitals for Clarksville, and sponsored conservative legislation defending families, protecting the Second Amendment, advancing education freedom, and standing against discrimination. In 2025, Maberry was recognized by The Tennessee Journal for having the 6th highest bill passage rate (70%) in the state House.

A lifelong Clarksville resident, Maberry is completing his final year on the Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board and has spent two decades in full-time pastoral leadership. He and his wife, Elizabeth, serve together at Mosaic Church and are raising their three children in Montgomery County.

Supporters are invited to Maberry’s campaign kickoff event on Nov. 6 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Riverview Inn, hosted by former Deputy Speaker Curtis Johnson, Sen. Bill Powers, former County Mayor Jim Durrett, and Kevin Kennedy Sr., alongside campaign co-chairs Ronnie Moore and Philip Hagewood.

District 68 covers the eastern side of Clarksville and Montgomery County, including Cunningham, Memorial Drive, Sango, Kirkwood and parts of St. Bethlehem.
