CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Renovation projects are underway at Governors Square Mall in Clarksville.

Construction began April 24 and is expected to be complete by November of this year.

Ceiling tiles have been removed near the Belk end of the mall and the main entrance to install skylights. Shoppers will also notice the barricades that have been set up in front of Belk and JCPenney for the installation of relaxation stations and more skylights. Several more barricades are scheduled to be installed in the future.

The mall will remain open during this process, and most of the construction will be done after hours. However, the Monster Spider Jump and Apple Express Train will be shut down temporarily.
