CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The “Remember My Name” domestic violence awareness event will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kenwood High School, 251 E. Pine Mountain Rd.

This free, public event is part of the Silent Witness Project. This year, 15 women and two children murdered as a result of domestic violence will be honored. A red silhouette representing each person will be displayed. One of the victims was an active duty soldier, and four others were military veterans. One silhouette will represent all unnamed victims of domestic violence.

This year’s event is dedicated to Natalie, Diamin and Paul Vullo, all murdered in the community.

A silent auction will be held to benefit Safehouse, a local shelter for women and children. Free food and drinks will be provided.

Featured exhibits include Dreams to Screams, the Clothesline Project, and the Silent Witness Project.
