CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Tired of the same-old 5K road race? Grab a partner and join the Clarksville Area Y for The Gauntlet, a partner obstacle race at Rotary Park on Saturday, May 21.

Back for the second year, The Gauntlet will challenge even the most stubborn exerciser to have fun. Over the course of 5 Kilometers (more or less) of trails, racers will encounter 10 obstacles ranging from carrying 30 extra pounds up a hill to conquering a water slide. Partners will jump, crawl, and work together to master The Gauntlet.

Date: Saturday, May 21
Time: Three heats will run, starting at 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Location: Rotary Park, Clarksville
Cost: $35 per person in advance, $40 per person on race day

All proceeds from The Gauntlet benefit the Y’s Annual Giving Campaign, which helps the Y to provide valuable programs and services to the Clarksville community.
