“She Owns It!” is a format in which today’s working woman can tell her story. Not a story of oppression, but one of ownership, dictating to life instead of life dictating to you. When thinking of the concept I thought of my mother and the female role models I had growing up. The words, “I can’t or they won’t let me” were never allowed. Those concepts were excuses and intolerable. Take ownership of your circumstance and use it as a catalyst for positive change.
With this event our speakers will discuss just how they took ownership of their circumstances. Our speakers include an Entrepreneur and licensed speech therapist, a law enforcement officer, and a high school counselor.
We will have a strategic planning session taught by Dr. Carlo Serrano, some interactive marketing scenarios, music, games, and a self-defense demonstration conducted by Gracie Barra Clarksville Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Self-defense Academy.
A buffet style meal will be prepared by the Chefs of Fieldstone Place, independent and assisted living community.
All attendees will receive gift bags, an opportunity to network, and a wonderful experience.
We have opened this up to young ladies 14 years old and up. We believe that it’s important that these future leaders see what’s shaping the world around them.
