CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Is your child interested in playing basketball this winter? The City of Clarksville Parks + Recreation Department offers a Youth Basketball League for boys and girls ages 7 to 15.

The fee is $65 per participant. Each player will receive a jersey, water bottle and award.

Practices will be held at local school gymnasiums beginning November 1 and games will be held each Saturday beginning December 3 at the City’s three Recreation Centers: Burt-Cobb, Crow and Kleeman. The season will run approximately eight weeks.

Registration for the league opens September 2 and is available online. Registration is also available in-person at the City’s Recreation Centers, as well as at Clarksville Parks + Recreation, located at 102 Public Square. First-time registrants must provide child’s birth certificate for age verification.

Interested in a leadership role on the court? Clarksville Parks + Recreation is also seeking coaches. Youth leagues rely heavily on the generosity of parents and volunteers to provide coaching support. There is no experience required and training will be provided.
